On Saturday, 6 May 2017 in Narva, the Ministry of Culture participated in the Estonian-wide community activities day. The ministry’s important initiatives were introduced to the public. Visits were made to the Baltiyets factory which next year will become home to the Vaba Lava Theatre Centre, the Estonian Public Broadcasting studio, and the OBJECT creative incubator. It is also very probable that the Integration Foundation along with the new Estonian Language House will also be located here. Cleanup work was conducted in the Kreitzberg Park on the Kreenholm territory and around the House of Peoples. At the initiative of the Integration Foundation, several language cafés were organised during the day, where people could practice speaking Estonian.
